The Student Experience at OCON 2016

ARI’s Objectivist summer conference is a once-a-year event where you can learn about Objectivism, connect with others influenced by Ayn Rand’s works and experience many aspects of the Objectivist movement. As a student at OCON 2016, you’ll discover a philosophical approach to understanding the power and application of ideas, both in your life and in the culture. You’ll build relationships with professionals and intellectuals eager to share the ideas behind their success. Even more, you’ll leave with new friendships and connections that continue far beyond the conference’s end. And you will have an opportunity to voice your ideas in discussions about what the future of the Objectivist movement should look like in order to best advance its inspiring pro-freedom message.

In a move to capitalize on growing interest in Ayn Rand’s ideas across Europe, the Ayn Rand Institute announced the expansion of their global outreach strategy with the launch of a new program — Ayn Rand Institute Europe. That was one year ago this month and what a productive year it’s been.

ARI Speaker Andrew Bernstein Presents at Record-Setting European Students for Liberty Conference

The fifth annual European Students for Liberty Conference took place March 11 to 13, 2016, at the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. The title of the conference was Students We Should Remember and many stories were told of past heroes of liberty and why we need more of them to build a brighter future. It was a record-setting attendance year with 908 students passionate about liberty and freedom coming together to discuss and learn more about the issues of our time.
