Trifecta: Tara Smith on Judicial Review in North Carolina
Tara Smith will be participating in three talks in North Carolina on February 10 and 11, during which she will present some of the ideas from her new book, Judicial Review in an Objective Legal System. These talks are just the latest in a series that began in the fall of 2015 (some of which were discussed on this blog here, here and here) to promote Dr. Smith’s new book to students, legal practitioners, and intellectuals. While two of the talks will be hosted by student chapters of the Federalist Society and will be open to the public, the third talk will be hosted by the Susie Sharp Inn of Court, which is only open to members. More details about each event can be found below.
The UNC School of Law Federalist Society will host Dr. Smith on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 12:00 PM, in room 4004 of the school of law.
Dr. Smith will speak at the Inn of Court in the evening of February 10. (The Inn of Court is a group of local judges, attorneys, law students and faculty who meet for dinner six times a year, in part, in order facilitate sharing their philosophies, knowledge and experiences, and to contribute to each member’s continuing education through tutorials on timely subjects.)
The Duke Law Federalist Society will host Dr. Smith on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 12:30 PM, in room 3037 of the law school.
