Upcoming talk: The “Virtue of Selfishness”?

On Wednesday, May 7, ARI’s Elan Journo will be talking about the meaning and implications of the “virtue of selfishness”:

Fifty years ago, Rand published The Virtue of Selfishness, a groundbreaking book laying out her ethics of rational egoism. What does it look like to be selfish in your own life? In this talk, part of the monthly ARI series of talks in Irvine, Elan Journo discusses Rand’s conception of morality, what it means in practice, and indicates some of its applications to current political issues.

Journo is a fellow and director of policy research at ARI. To find out how to join us at ARI’s headquarters in Irvine, CA, click here.
