Steve Simpson Speaks at Harvard Law School on Free Speech [Video]

Recently, Steve Simpson gave a talk for the Harvard Law School chapter of the Federalist Society on freedom of speech and the right to offend. Among other things, Steve discussed the link between the view among many Western intellectuals that Charlie Hebdo “provoked” Muslims by criticizing their religion and the culture of political correctness on many university campuses today, the connection between freedom of speech and freedom of thought and why the right to free speech must include the right to offend.
