Spreading Objectivism by Living It [Video]
What does it take to change people’s minds about fundamentals? The time-honored method of philosophical argumentation is not to be dismissed. But more often than not, the most effective method of persuasion is to offer one’s audience an inspiring example of a new way of living and thinking. This talk by Ben Bayer, fellow at the Ayn Rand Institute and former philosophy teacher at Loyola University New Orleans, explores the implications of this view for how to conduct oneself as a philosophical activist and in everyday dealings with people.
This live recording was made at Objectivist Summer Conference 2014 at the Venetian Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, June 28, 2014.
