Obamacare Once Again Challenged in America’s Highest Court

Though the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare’s individual mandate, the fight to overturn the law isn’t over yet. Today the Supreme Court hears arguments on the validity of the law’s contraception mandate, which requires all insurance policies to provide coverage for birth control.

The suit is brought by Hobby Lobby, a chain of arts-and-crafts stores whose CEO says it is a violation of the company’s religious freedom to have to provide such coverage. According to the Wall Street Journal, “at issue is whether for-profit companies such as Hobby Lobby are entitled to the same religious protections as people or churches.”

The Court’s decision is expected by June.
