Elan Journo to Assess Obama’s Middle East Policy
Barack Obama vowed to reset America’s orientation to the world. He also pledged a radical departure from Bush’s policy. Now, as his presidency comes to an end, two important questions arise: How different has Obama’s Middle East policy actually been? And, how should we evaluate it?
In his talk, “Obama’s Middle East Policy: An Assessment,” Elan Journo, ARI’s director of policy research, will assess recent U.S. policy in the Middle East, applying principles from Ayn Rand’s ethics of rational egoism. Journo will also outline what American policy should look like.
Join Journo for this free event at ARI Headquarters in Irvine, California, on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. Register here.
