Onkar Ghate and Carl Svanberg at the North Carolina Alliance for Public Charter Schools’ 2016 Charter School Conference
On March 9 – 11, The North Carolina Alliance for Public Charter Schools will be organizing the 2016 Public Charter Schools Conference in Charlotte, NC. Onkar Ghate, senior fellow, and Carl Svanberg, research associate, will be there to offer ARI’s radical perspective on educational freedom.
On March 10, Onkar will give a talk, titled “Education and Ideology: The Need to Be Free to Choose,” in which he will discuss what the most philosophical arguments advanced in support of the First Amendment imply for educational freedom. Onkar will later join Carl for a panel discussion on the role of charter schools in the battle for freedom in education.
