The Ayn Rand Institute’s third annual Chicago fundraising dinner and auction will feature acclaimed investigative journalist, best-selling author and TV personality John Stossel.

The event, which will take place at the Langham Hotel on the evening of Tuesday, June 3, 2014, will also feature Gary Brinson, president of GP Brinson Investments, and ARI’s executive director, Yaron Brook.

More than half a century after its publication, Ayn Rand’s classic Atlas Shrugged continues to sell at a rapid rate — and Rand’s ideas continue to occupy a critical place in the American intellectual landscape. The Institute’s mission is to bring Rand’s ideas to the widest possible audience — in high school, college and university classrooms, in the media, and among the nation’s policymakers and business leaders.

“Last year’s dinner was a great success,” said Yaron Brook, “with ninety admirers of Ayn Rand gathered at the Ritz-Carlton, enjoying a fantastic evening. We expect this year’s dinner at the stunning Langham Hotel to top that.”

There will be a live auction of various Ayn Rand-related collectibles and ephemera, with proceeds to benefit the Institute.
