Agustina Vergara Cid writes and speaks for ARI, and she is a teaching assistant at ARU.
Ms. Vergara Cid focuses on the application of Rand’s philosophy to public policy issues, with an emphasis on American immigration policy. She also speaks to Latin American audiences about the importance of freedom, its ethical foundations, and the importance of rejecting collectivism in their favor. Her writings have appeared in publications such as Newsweek, The Hill, and RealClear Politics. She has been interviewed on various media in English and in Spanish, and often speaks at events for American and Latin American audiences.
Ms. Vergara Cid holds an LLB from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina, and a LLM from the University of Southern California, and is a graduate of ARU.
