Ayn Rand Institute Board of Directors Update

IRVINE, Ca.­– January 12, 2018 ­­– The Ayn Rand Institute, the leading center for the advancement of Objectivism, today announced that Dr. Onkar Ghate, Senior Fellow and Chief Content Officer, has been appointed to serve on its board. A long-time Objectivist and philosopher, Ghate has served on the Board’s Intellectual Objectivist Committee for three years, and has been employed by the Institute for 17 years. Ghate is the Institute’s foremost expert on Objectivism and is actively involved in teaching at the Institute’s Objectivist Academic Center. Ghate is a contributing author to a number of books on Rand’s fiction and philosophy, and his op-eds have been featured in a wide range of media. In addition to his new board appointment, Ghate will continue to serve in his current role as Chief Content Officer.

The Institute has also announced that Arline Mann, who has served on the board since 1994 at different times as a member, co-chair and chair, has decided to retire from the board. She departs with ARI’s gratitude for her very important contributions to the Institute’s health and growth.
