The Ayn Rand Institute to Launch Ayn Rand Europe

Irvine, California – The Ayn Rand Institute (ARI) announced today the launch of Ayn Rand Institute Europe. ARI Europe will further ARI’s mission to foster
awareness, understanding and acceptance of Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism. As Rand’s ideas continue to gain interest across Europe, ARI will
establish a presence to engage audiences and advance the Objectivist movement.

Lars Seier Christensen, co-founder and CEO of Saxo Bank, will act as chairman of the advisory board for ARI Europe. Annie Vinther Sanz, as general manager
of ARI Europe, will spearhead strategic initiatives. Ms. Sanz, who is originally from Denmark, currently resides in France. Fluent in six languages, she
spent the past two decades in international business before starting her own consulting firm. Ms. Sanz has been actively promoting free markets and
personal liberty to European audiences for years and is excited about furthering her efforts through her work with ARI Europe.

Initially Ms. Sanz will focus on reaching out to student organizations and think tanks across Europe. She will also work to facilitate new translations of
Ayn Rand’s books. In subsequent months, ARI will translate major components of its website into various European languages.

“ARI Europe represents an important step for the Objectivist movement. Ms. Sanz will help ARI introduce new audiences to Rand’s philosophy of reason,
rational self-interest and laissez-faire capitalism. This is the next step in our global outreach strategy,” says Yaron Brook, executive director of ARI.
