Change Education, Change the World

Support ARI’s Conceptual Education Program

The Conceptual Education Program is a designated fund to advance educational reform by promoting a rational approach to primary and secondary education, based on the principles of Objectivism.
“The only purpose of education is to teach a student how to live his life—by developing his mind and equipping him to deal with reality. The training he needs is theoretical, i.e., conceptual. He has to be taught to think, to understand, to integrate, to prove. He has to be taught the essentials of the knowledge discovered in the past—and he has to be equipped to acquire further knowledge by his own effort.” —Ayn Rand, “The Comprachicos”
Every dollar you give through this page goes to supporting current and potential activities aimed at advancing educational reform, including:
  • The Conceptual Education Fellowship, which funds the training of new intellectuals who can articulate and advocate a rational approach to education.
  • Developing and supporting future leaders who will work to implement a conceptual approach in both private and public schools.
  • Supporting Objectivist intellectuals interested in pursuing an academic career as professors of education, and supporting academic work on education, such as books or conference presentations.
  • Promoting a rational approach to education directly to teachers, principals, superintendents, and others working in the field of education.
  • Producing educational content about philosophy of education, based on Objectivist ideas, including courses for Ayn Rand University.
Yes! I want to support the ongoing efforts of the Ayn Rand Institute to spread a rational approach to education.
